How it works

Ready to join?

Here’s how most people get started.

    Reach out

    Email us with your child’s grade and a good way to contact you. We’ll answer questions and invite you to a meeting.

  2. 2

    Visit a meeting

    Tour the pack, meet leaders and other parents, and see dens in action. Kids are encouraged to jump in and try activities.

  3. 3

    Register & suit up

    Complete the official Scouting America application, pay pack dues, and get a uniform when you’re ready. We’ll walk you through every step.

Adults are part of the program too. Den leaders, committee members, and event helpers are parent volunteers. Volunteering and safety explains how to help and how the pack keeps youth safe.
